In recent times DJ and producer Groovesytlerz aka Ronny Rockstroh has created lots of cool house tracks and great remixes for various labels such as Superstar, Pulsive and Kontor. His remixography reads like a who’s who of the dance world taking in anyone and everyone from Boogie Pimps, Lazard, Commander Tom, Global Deejays, Conways etc. But now this guy is coming up with his own first official single release. ’We are Family’ is a astonishing rework of the same title originally released and performed by Sister Sledge in the 80s and it will be the fifth release on Pulsive Media’s in-house imprint Get Freaky! – which has become big reputation in charts and clubs because of the latest releases by 2-4 Grooves, Conways, Mohito and/or Arnold Palmer.
Over the past few months a bootleg version ‘We are Family’ has whipped club land into a frothing mass of hysteria, becoming a permanent fixture in the record boxes of everyone, from underground electro to mainstream spinners. The team behind Get Freaky! Records have realised the track’s potential and are now coming up with 100% replayed and totally cleared rework of this classic anthem. The 12”-Vinyl will bring you the Groovestylerz aka Rockstroh Rework plus incredible remixes by Steve ‘N King (… big success in clubs with ’Bounce’), Conways (... famous for their rework of ’A Walk in the Park’) and the 2-4 Grooves (… actually # 1 in charts with their own single ’Like the Way I Do’).
The first CD-R promos are out to strong selected tastemaker and radio jocks and the first buzz on this track is really massive! The DJs are reacting very enthusiastically so this record is expected to become an indispensable tool for peak time plays in the upcoming sets of all the biggest DJs. For sure ’We are Family’ will be one of the essential tunes in club and radio land 2007 – so don’t pass it!
